Hi-Tone (Also known as The Hi-Tone Cafe) is a venue based in Memphis, Tennessee. Founded in 1998, the Hi-Tone is best known for hosting a wide range of music of anything from blues to country to reggae to metal and everything in between.[1] The venue hosts multiple stages and rooms, with the biggest being roughly 400 in capacity. Despite being proposed to close down in 2012,[2] the Hi-Tone has remained active in the Memphis scene for over twenty-five years as an insititution for independent touring artists.
