Hemp for Victory is a 7" single by Bongzilla. One of three releases by Thunder Lizard Recordings, Hemp for Victory was released in 1998 and featuring two songs, both of which from different sessions. The name derives from a 1942 documentary made to encourage American farmers to grow hemp as part of their patriotic duty during the war.[1]
Side A recorded at Austin Ent. in Nashville, TN.
Side B recorded at Sleepless Nights in Madison, WI.
Both songs would go on to appear on Nuggets.
