Hawg Jaw is a sludge/hardcore band based out of New Orleans.

Founded in 1996 by Gary Mader of Eyehategod as a side-project, Hawg Jaw's style of music is rooted in sludge but also heavily incorporates elements of hardcore (Often called "sludgecore".).[1] After going through numerous lineup changes early on, Hawg Jaw would release two studio albums amid numerous other releases. Hawg Jaw have largely performed in the Louisiana area, be it for local or touring acts.
