Hat Factory 93 is a demo by the Louisville post-rock band Rodan. Recorded in early 1993 at The Hat Factory in Baltimore, Hat Factory 93 would be re-mastered and released in 2019 when the tapes were rescued in 2015 and transferred to digital. It would be released on digital circa 4 April 2019, 25 years to the day of the band's only studio album Rusty. Hat Factory 93 would be showcased on 8 April as the album of the day on Bandcamp Daily.[1] All proceeds to the digital release would benefit the Louisville charity group Girls Rock Louisville.[2]
A vinyl edition would be released via Quarterstick Records would be released on 1 November 2019 in black vinyl and a limited transparent gold variant,[3] featuring a fold-out poster by Greg King and a hidden track after "Exoskeleton".
