History[]
Norwegian festival Høstsabbat ("Harvest Sabbath") is held in Oslo since 2013, initially in Konsertforeningen Betong, moved to Arena Vulkan in 2016 and is held currently in Kulturkirken Jakob. The festival is typically held over 2 or 3 days in September or October. It is brought to life by people involved in the local underground music scene.
It was originally conceived as a DIY-festival, in collaboration with the student organisation at Betong in Oslo, focusing on presenting the best underground bands Norway and Sweden has to offer, plus a few well known international bands.

The 5 year anniversary was celebrated with a special one-off Vintersabbat, held the 2nd of December 2017.
Monolord, Purple Hill Witch, Vokonis and JABBA played. Before the shows there was a record fair and quiz.
2018[]
The festival moved to Kulturkirken Jakob starting this sixth edition, held 5 and 6 October 2018. [4]
