Grand Magus (Also known as Demo 2000 and Demo Two Thousand) is a three-song demo by the Swedish metal band Grand Magus. It would be released and sent to various labels, ultimately leading them to be signed with Rise Above Records on 14 February 2001.[1] Notably, Twilight Train would also appear on a split with Spiritual Beggars, released in late 2000 via Southern Lord Records.
The demo would garner a 8.5/10 score from Greek publication Metal Hammer and get played in it's entirety on Swedish rock station "Rocket 95", who would have Grand Magus be their band of the week.[2]
