Five Mile Smile are a rock band from Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Five Mile Smile where formed In Belfast in early 2000 by Ross (guitar and Vocals) Connor (Bass) and Brian (Drums). They spent the first year performing live, while working on original material. Their first single Long Road Out released in 2001 reflected their raw, live sound and received some positive feedback.

2002 saw the band continue to gig, while recording song more songs “Lights Out” was a straightforward but powerful rock song, while live favourite “Walkthru” saw the band move further into their now established Americana rock/blues sound. By early 2003 the band felt they had achieved what they wanted, and it was time to move on.
Then in 2014, the band decided to get back together . After just a few weeks they recorded their first new track in twelve years “Call to Arms”. the song was a successful return, and received extensive radio airplay.
In 2015 to band would record 2 more singles "Boogaloo blues" and "The Villain" before Connor left the band.
Five Mile Smile continued as a 2 piece with singles "Working Man" "Touch the Lightning" and "Drinkin All day".
