1. "We Fly High" (January 15, 2014) |
Eternal Hayden is the fourth studio album by the Finnish rock band Mr. Peter Hayden, released on March 10, 2017. It is the band's first album under the PH moniker and the first to be released via Svart Records.
The album's songs are shorter in average than previous albums with the exception of its opening track "Looking Back at Mr. Peter Hayden", which clocks in at 16:44.
Background[]
After a trilogy of full-lengths issued as Mr. Peter Hayden via Kaurilia Society between 2010 and 2014 (2010's Faster Than Speed, 2012’s Born a Trip and 2014’s Archdimension Now), the band seemed finally to obliterate themselves through sonic means. They announced that they would only refer to themselves as the PH monogram, which led to confusion with their name, although they kept the name Mr. Peter Hayden.
Composition[]
Unlike the 2010–2014 trilogy, the album features shorter songs in average, although the opening track "Looking Back at Mr. Peter Hayden" clocks in at 16 minutes and 44 seconds.
The song "We Fly High" was released as a 7-inch single on January 15, 2014.
