Electric Horsemen are a doom/sludge band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Active for four years in their initial run they have since reformed and are playing shows again as of 2017.

History[]

Electric Horsemen formed in 2006 with the founding lineup of Barry, Wyatt, Ben and Brian. The band would quickly compose six songs for a self-titled EP on Bland Hand Records and perform live for the first time alongside Backwoods Payback. From there the band performed various shows in the Pennsylvania are with the occasional out-of-town show such as Doom or Be Doomed. Members of the group formed Black Cowgirl in 2008 as the band also recorded more material, eventually releasing a split CD with Count von Count in 2009. However, the band would go on a hiatus in 2010.

In early 2017 it would be announced that Electric Horsemen would be returning from hiatus. Releasing an unreleased song entitled Milk Coma in January, the band announced two shows with Backwoods Payback to mark their return (17 February 2017 at The Alternative Gallery in Allentown, PA and 18 February 2017 at Rex's in West Chester, PA).[1] The band is currently working on new material and performing sporadic live shows in the PA area.
