Dustrider are an instrumental heavypsych/stoner trio from Roma formed by drummer Francesco “Krundaal” Romano (Riti Occulti and Jarman), bassist Andrea “Keoma” Romano and Bruno “Brüno” Bellisario on guitars. Since their beginning, they try to mix all very different influences, spanning from classic heavy metal to stoner, doom and sludge, in a personal and new interpretation. Their sound can be described as a mixture of psychedelic/space rock fused with heavy stoner tunes with an adventurous spirit running throughout their music.

HistoryEdit

Born in late 2014-early 2015, Dustrider are an instrumental heavypsych/stoner trio from Roma formed by drummer Francesco “Krundaal” Romano (Riti Occulti and Jarman), bassist Andrea “Keoma” Romano and Bruno “Brüno” Bellisario on guitars. Although in a very short time, the band acquired their own personal vision of music, creating a personal style fused in a heavy doom, desert rock and fuzzy riffs in one spaced out trippy package. In late 2015, Dustrider release their first EP, Mother Engine, entirely self-produced, which caught the attention and curiosity of part of the insiders. Months after the release of Mother Engine, Dustrider have come out with a new self-produced single, AgarthA, which opens the way to the first album of the band.

Sometime after Dustrider would sign with Argonauta Records and release Event Horizon on 19 May 2017, with a release party hosted on 12 May at Defrag.[1] The next night would see them at Argonauta Fest and closing out performing with Satori Junk, whom they'd later tour with in 2018. Event Horizon would see positive reception from the likes of Outlaws of the Sun[2] and Taste Nation[3] among others. The band's last social media posts would be in the Spring of 2019, with the status of the band currently unknown.[4]

ReviewsEdit

Heavy psych that will make you want to walk off the job right now, get into your car with all the windows rolled down, and drive down some lonely road (bring a spare tire and jack), listening to nothing but Kyuss and Dustrider all the way there!  Billy Goat, Doomed & Stoned

Hawkwind meets Colour Haze and the two go on a roadtrip, on the way through the desert they meet Tuber! Frazer Jones, Desert pshychlist _____________________________________________ A slice of heavy Doom, Desert Rock and Fuzz riffs in one spaced out trippy package. It's quite an exciting ride with Dustrider showing touches of originality throughout the song. Steve Howe, Outlaws Of The Sun
