Dropout is a single by Arkansas doom metal band Pallbearer.
Background[]
In May of 2017 it was announced that Pallbearer would be taking part in the 52-week 2017/2018 adult swim singles program. Eventually on the band's February 2018 tour with Ruby The Hatchet they would be opening sets with an instrumental piece. In March 2018 on the band's social media Pallbearer announced a return to the studio. A short tour of the US followed with Spirit Adrift and Adam Faucett, where the new song was revealed to a live audience. On 13 April, Dropout was released via adult swim singles and later through Nuclear Blast.
