Doom Records was a traditional doom label from Rockville, Maryland. Run by Marshall Hall from 1991 to roughly 2002, this label is notable for composing unofficial or bootleg releases of key bands in the scene such as The Obsessed, Bedemon or Iron Man. The majority of the releases comprised of live bootlegs or demos, with exception of Vol. 1 by Church of Misery (Which gained the band's first exposure in the United States) though it was released without their consent. Church of Misery would notably speak negatively of the label in an official statement on their website circa 2000:

“JULY 11th 2000.
