Djebars (Джєбарс) is the second and final studio album by the Ukrainian band Soom, released on April 20, 2018. It is the last album to feature bassist Tomrer, who left the band in that same year, led to his replacement by Gerostrat. The group disbanded in March 2019 after concluding the album's tour.

Musical style Edit

Musically, Djebars mixes sludge doom, stoner metal, Ukrainian folk, a hard edge and plenty of malevolent atmosphere and a sense of dread.

The album explores the long, mostly instrumental tracks that more or less bleed into one from the other with short interludes that may feature spoken-word recordings and ambient music in tracks like "Laughter of the Night Virgins" and "Feng Shui Souvenir", which includes a fast techno beat.
