District of Dystopia is the seventh studio album by Jucifer. Recorded, mixed and mastered entirely in their Winnebago, District of Dystopia is a concept album wherein each song is inspired by historical Acts of Congress or Executive Orders which were enacted around controversial topics. For liner notes, guitarist / vocalist Valentine wrote a series of essays explaining the subject matter, which are available as limited edition posters. The album's sound itself is heavily favored in d-beat, grindcore and DC Hardcore Punk.
District of Dystopia would be released on CD via Nomadic Fortress and later as a 45RPM LP via Alternative Tentacles. Reviews for the album were mostly positive from the likes of Ghost Cult Magazine (8/10),[1] Metal Bandcamp,[2] Echoes and Dust[3] and Angry Metal Guy.[4]
