DesertFest Vol. 5 is a split 7" between Mondo Generator and Orquesta del Desierto, released in coalition with Mondo Generator's appearances at DesertFest London and DesertFest Berlin that year. Notably it's the first release (Barring the Best Of compilation) by Mondo in six years and the first release by Orquesta since 2003's Sol.
The DesertFest split would be released on Vinyl, limited to 400 copies (160 Baby Pink, 160 Orange, 80 Black). It would also be released as a cassingle limited to 60 copies (30 Pink, 30 Orange).
