Debris Inc. (2005) |
Debris Inc. is the eponymous studio album by the doom punk trio of the same name. It was released in April 2005 via Rise Above Records in Europe and via Candlelight Records in the United States. Notably featuring a host of guest drummers along main performers Ron Holzner and Dave Chandler, this album is a mix of old-school L.A. punk and doom metal. The album also features two covers: "Nausea" by X and "I Love Living in the City" by Fear.
The inside album art depicts Jimmy Bower as the band's drummer. While Bower did perform for the band on several occasions, including a U.S. tour in 2004, he does not perform on this album. Both Ron and Tony are credited with drums on "Dime-A-Dozen". A demo featuring "Pain", "Full of Shit" and "Nightmare" known as Happy Violent Drunken Stoner Punk Doom was self-released the year prior, all three tracks with Barry Stern on drums.
