Death Is Alive: 1981 - 1985 is a live/compilation album produced by Game Two Records and Black Widow Records, released on Valentine's Day in 2000. Featuring rough live and rehearsal cuts, Death Is Alive chronicles Death Row before they would become Pentagram. It would be released as a black vinyl record, limited to 1000 copies. On the sleeve, A5 is credited as the first song of side B, instead of the last song of side A. When initially announced, there were plans for another label to release a CD version with an additional track, "Madman." However, these plans ultimately never came to fruition.

- A1, A2, B1, B2 & B3 were all recorded at The Wild West (later Jaxx and Empire) on 24 March 1983.[1]
- A4 & A5 would be recorded live at The Big Dipper in Beltsville, Maryland on 4 March 1983.[2]
