Flood would perform drums on the band's first releases in the Sodden Jackal 7" circa 1983 among several of the band's early demos. Flood would leave the band in the Summer of 1984, his last performance with the band that April and later documented in the 2020 live album Live at Big Dipper.

Notably Dave Flood also has a brother in Dale Flood, who is notably a driving force in the Maryland doom scene and best known for his bands Asylum and Unorthodox.[1]
