Cuerno (Spanish for Horn) was a sludge/doom band based out of Barcelona, Spain. The band would be initially active in 2006, briefly with Argentina-born vocalist José Luis Armetta. The band's first rehearsal was recorded two weeks after the band's formation.[1] By 2007 the lineup would shift with a new bassist, eventually recording four more songs that would be released as a self-titled EP in 2009. Following the release of Lost Sessions in 2010, Cuerno would disband the same year.

Cuerno would reform in 2015 to record a proper debut album, releasing Rec Comtal on 1 September 2016 via Discos Macarras.
