Coping With The Urban Coyote (1999) |
For The Working Man (2001 (Intended)) |
Coping With The Urban Coyote is the first studio album by the desert rock band Unida. It would be initially released on LP via Cargo Records on 25 August 1999 and later on CD via Man's Ruin Records. Notably "Black Woman" would appear on RISE 13 - Magick Rock Vol. 1 along with the iconic skateboarding game Tony Hawk's Underground. At the time of release Coping With The Urban Coyote attained praise from publications such as Exclaim![1] and Chronicles of Chaos.[2] Upon it's reissue in 2013 it would gain new reviews and praise from the likes of Sputnik Music[3] and The Obelisk.[4]
Following the closure of Man's Ruin Records and Unida's breakup the album would be bootlegged on vinyl for years. In line with the 2013 reunion, Coping With The Urban Coyote would see a reissue via Cobraside Distribution circa 18 March 2014. Along with a re-mastered version of the LP track listing, the 2014 re-issue would feature seven songs from the band's live performance at Desertfest London on 27 April 2013.
