Controlling Data For a Better Feeling Future is a split/collaboration featuring the sludge metal bands Melvins and Helms Alee. The third release in line for The Melvins' 40th Anniversary, it would be released on Cheapy CD and Vinyl via Amphetamine Reptile Records on 13 August 2023. Additional copies of the collaboration would be available on the Twins of Evil tour.
The collaborative EP would feature one original song, one re-recorded song each by Melvins and Helms Alee and covers of Scorpions and Hüsker Dü.
