Comet Control is a Psychedelic Rock band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They were formed in 2013 amidst the breakup of Quest for Fire.

History

Comet Control were formed in 2013 around the time Quest for Fire announced their breakup on Facebook. The band includes two former members of Quest for Fire - Chad Ross, on guitar and vocals, and Andrew Moszynski, on guitar - as well as Nicole Howell, on bass, Jay Anderson of BIBLICAL, on drums, and Christopher Sandes on keys. They played their first gig at The Horseshoe Tavern, Toronto, supporting The Highest Order on 4 May 2013. On 2 September 2013, the band previewed their first track, Blast Magic, on Bandcamp; this track would later find itself on their self-titled, debut album, which was announced on 14 February 2014, and was released on 20 May 2014 through Tee Pee Records. In an interview with Outsider Almanac, Ross noted that some of the tracks on their first record were originally Quest for Fire songs.
