Captain Trip Records is a Japanese music label founded in 1992 by Ken Matsutani, Japanese guitarist and vocalist and bandleader of Marble Sheep. The label functions as a showcase of psychedelic rock in the Japanese scene along with a wide range of music from the 1960s and 1970s such as California psychedelic, garage rock, electronic and much more. Along with newer bands the label also had a heavy emphasis on 1960s reissues of obscure garage and prog acts. The label also has connections to the German band La! Neu?.
