Cabalgata hacia la Luz is the third studio album by the experimental band Ararat. It was recorded and mixed by Walter Chacón at Estudios Romaphonic, Argentina, and mastered by Tom Baker in Baker Mastering Studios, USA.[1] With a full trio lineup, the band's sound would take more of a rock direction and feature several shorter songs. Despite this, Cabalgata is the group's longest record, spanning over an hour.
Album details would surface in February 2014 via The Obelisk,[2] initially releasing in March 2014 on CD to positive reception.[3][4][5][6][7]
A presentation show for the album would be hosted at The Roxy Bar in Buenos Aires on 12 September 2014.[8] South American Sludge would re-issue the album on vinyl in 2016, featuring ten of the album's thirteen tracks.
