Buttrash is a cassette demo and the first release by Buzzov*en. Recorded in April 1991, it would be released as a demo to various labels and is notably the only Buzzov*en release to feature original bassist Fred Hutch. It's also the first Buzzov*en release to feature the "baby" mascot and a version of the demo exists with a negative image of the cover.
All three tracks would be re-recorded for the band's debut album To A Frown. The demo of "Wound" would appear on the 7" compilation Stereonucleosis Comes to Your House.[1] "Splinter My Eye" would appear on the 1994 compilation Sing Along With .... (An International Sampler).[2] "Toe Fry" appears on Music For The Proletariat.[3]
