Burial Chamber Trio is a drone/doom side project curated by American guitarist Greg Anderson, Hungarian vocalist Attila Csihar and Australian electronics performer Oren Ambarchi. All three contributors had previously performed with Sunn O))) and around the time of this project's formation a counter-project known as Gravetemple was also curated. This counter band featured the same lineup but with Stephen O'Malley in place of Anderson.
The project would release an eponymous album in 2007,[1] followed by a live 10" entitled WVRM later that year with artwork by Seldon Hunt.[2]
The band performed live in the Winter of 2007 for a short tour of Europe, followed by a singular USA date later that year alongside Earth and Lesbian.[3]
