Brant Bjork is the eponymous fourteenth studio album by desert rock legend Brant Bjork, currently set for a 10 April release via Heavy Psych Sounds. In similar fashion to earlier solo efforts it sees Brant handling all instruments and vocals.
Background
Following extensive touring through the world in 2019 and the announcement of more touring in 2020, Brant Bjork would announce he had re-signed with Heavy Psych Sounds on 13 January 2020, with a major announcement to follow on 21 January.[1] Behind the scenes Brant would record a new album through November and December 2019 with Yosef Sanborn, with mastering handled by John McBain in San Francisco, formerly of Monster Magnet.
On 21 January Brant Bjork would reveal that his next album (Simply titled "Brant Bjork") was finished and set for a 10 April 2020 release. Announced by his own social media, Heavy Psych Sounds' social media and The Obelisk, Brant would also premiere a new song in "Jungle in The Sound".[2] On 23 March 2020 it would be announced that Brant Bjork's self-titled album would be delayed until 8 May due to concerns involving the CO-VID19 pandemic.
