Boris Live at Third Man Records is a live album by Japanese experimental rock band Boris, recorded in early August 2016 during their PINK 10th Anniversary World Tour with Earth as direct support.
Background[]
During Boris' tenth anniversary tour of the album Pink in which they performed the entire album along with outtakes from the record the band was offered, along with supporting act Earth, to perform at Jack White's Third Man Records in Nashville, Tennessee. As per their performance policy with the vast majority of performers there the show would be recorded live to acetate.
Third Man would release a limited pink and black split colored vinyl as a "ticket" for attendees while the standard black is unlimited.
Due to limitations of vinyl only a portion of the band's set was recorded. Nine songs were omitted from the release which rounded out to the remainder of the Pink album and it's b-sides.
