Boris is a single by the Japanese experimental band Boris. Recorded in 2019 and previously performed on the band's 2019 world tour, Boris is a cover of the Melvins song of the same name and the band's namesake. It was produced in collaboration with Holy Mountain Printing and Third Man Pressing, featuring an etched b-side of a cat (which the original song was written about.).
Boris was originally intended to be released to coincide with the band's 2020 North American tour that would be canceled due to the CO-VID19 Pandemic. It would be limited to 900 copies; 800 on Purple Vinyl via Holy Mountain Printing and 100 on Red Vinyl via Boris' Heavy Rock Party Fan Club.
