BongBongBeerWizards are a psychedelic doom power trio based out of Dortmund, Germany. Forming in 2017, this trio incorporates elements of stoner doom while also experimenting with psychedelic atmosphere and experimenting with other instruments than the usual bass, drums and guitars.
The band formed in 2017 with their first release being a rehearsal demo named Hansa, released 13 November with their earliest known live performance taking place on 15 December 2017 a month later.[1] The band would begin work on a debut album and on 22 January 2019 release Bong Hit Wonders. The band would play occasional shows but largely focus on writing new material through 2020, first releasing a live rehearsal in July and then Albong on 28 August 2020 to praise from the likes of The Burning Beard[2] and Noise Vortex[3] among others.
