Blue Cheer is the eponymous fourth album by California hard rock band Blue Cheer. Released in late 1969 and with the band as a quartet, this album fully realized their shift into a commercial blues rock/hard rock sound. Dickie Peterson contributes lead vocals to half of the album and songwriting to three songs. Notably, Gary Lee Yoder contributes songwriting to the opening and closing tracks, Prior to joining the band in 1970.

The 2007 Japanese mini-LP sleeve reissue of Blue Cheer contains the mono non-LP single "All Night Long" (Kellogg) b/w "Fortunes" (Peterson) along with the single versions of "Fool" and "Ain't That The Way" as bonus tracks.

The album itself has attained fairly average reviews, with famed rock critic Robert Christgau giving it a "B"[1] and a revisit via AllMusic giving the album 3 1/2 stars.[2]
