History[]
This Finnish festival was started in 2015 by independent underground music promoter Blow Up That Gramophone with Nem Agency, an independent booking agency. This multi-day festival started in the Korjaamo venue but starting with the 6th edition in 2022 it moved to the larger Ääniwalli music hall. Not exclusively about music there is also a lot of room for emerging visual artists, often bringing out their own vision of the artists performing at the Blowup festival.
