Blind Dog were a stoner metal band from Halmstad, Sweden.

History[]

Blind Dog formed when Nilsson and Thell needed a drummer for a party gig. Thomas was called in to do one gig but the band stuck together since they discovered that everything worked so well.

Blind Dog recorded a demo in 1996, which was discovered by RoadRunner and rendered them a place on the compilation album Burn One Up in 1997.

Getting tired of waiting for a record deal the band released they debut album under own name in 1999 - The Last Adventures Of Captain Dog. This album was picked up by MeteorCity and re-released by them the year after.

In 2002 Blind Dog, was contacted by Listenable Records and a cooperation started with the band and the two labels which to date has resulted in one album: Captain Dog Rides Again (2003).

After just over ten years as a band in July 2008 that Blind Dog decided to quit, recording one final album in May that year entitled Captain Dog Logs Out and releasing it for free download.

Blind Dog would resurface in 2020 to announce a re-issue of The Last Adventures of Captain Dog via The Lab Records in 2020.[1]
