Black Nasa (Sometimes abbreviated as Black NASA) was a stoner rock side project of Chris Kosnik (The Atomic Bitchwax, Daisycutter, Monster Magnet) which was active from 2000 - 2005. The band's name is a reference to NASA conspiracies.
History[]
Black NASA formed in 2000 while members of The Atomic Bitchwax were busy with Monster Magnet, mainly serving as a side project of one Chris Kosnik. In 2002 the band would release a self-titled album, following with a string of shows alongside The Atomic Bitchwax into the next year.
On 20 April 2004 the band would release their second and final album entitled Deuce. While a tour in support of the album did happen the band would no longer remain active afterwards. Since then Kosnik has been active with The Atomic Bitchwax and Monster Magnet while Hutter and Stubblefield started a new band called 40 Pound Hound in 2014.
