Bat Salad is an EP by California metal band High on Fire, released exclusively on vinyl on Record Store Day 2019. The band recorded these three songs when news came that they would be forced to drop off their 2018 tour with Municipal Waste. The EP contains a new song in the the title track and two covers: "Into The Crypts of Rays" by Celtic Frost (From Morbid Tales) and "Don't Bother Me" by Bad Brains (From Quickness).

The album cover itself is based on the H.R. Giger painting Satan I which was used for Celtic Frost's 1985 album To Mega Therion while also incorporating the iconic lightning bolt from Bad Brains' eponymous debut album.

Bat Salad would be limited to 2700 copies on clear vinyl with green and black splatters. Notably it's also the final release to feature founding drummer Des Kensel as he would depart from the band roughly four months after the release of the EP.
