Bad Mood Rising is a studio album by The Melvins. It would be initially released on 22 August 2022 via Amphetamine Reptile Records and is the first Melvins album exclusively released on AmRep since 1997's Honky.[1] The album would be the fifth Melvins album to feature Steven McDonald and would feature Dylan Carlson (Earth) as a guest on the 14-minute song "Mister Dog is Always Right".
The album's title is a play on "Bad Moon Rising", an album title shared by Sonic Youth and Creedence Clearwater Revival.
