Aviary (1993) |
How The Winter Was Passed (1993) |
Aviary is a demo and the first release by the Louisville post-rock band Rodan. Recorded in 1992, it would be self-released in 1993 as a cassette limited to 200 copies, along with a CD version given out to friends. An EP version exists via Hell N Ready Records under the same name, featuring compilation and live tracks.[1]
Nearly every track would be re-recorded in some capacity for subsequent releases. The first seven songs were recorded in 1992 while tracks eight - twelve were recorded in early 1993, both of which at The Hat Factory in Baltimore. The last five songs would be officially re-released in 2019 as Hat Factory 93.
