Ascending Circulation is a split release featuring the Belgian sludge duo Sardonis and the Japanese stoner rock band Eternal Elysium. It would be initially released on CD via Dutch label Hammerheart Records on 4 October 2012, limited to 500 copies. American label Hydro-Phonic Records would release the split as a 10", limited to 500 copies (400 Brick Red Marble, 100 Lavender). The release would coincide with a Japanese tour featuring both bands.

Notably, two of Eternal Elysium's songs would feature guest performers in Misaki Ishiwata (Satoko Fujii Orchestra Nagoya) and Ryoko Ono (O-Jazz, Plastic Dogs, Sax Ruins).
