Around The USA in 51 Days: The Movie! is a live DVD by Melvins Lite. Released in 2015, it would chronicle the Melvins 51/51 Tour (supporting the 2012 album Freak Puke) where the band performed in all fifty states and Washington D.C. in 51 days. Unlike conventional live DVDs, Across The USA in 51 Days would feature one minute of each city, with snippets of live music spanning roughly 5 - 10 seconds. Brief live footage from Tweak Bird (Who supported the majority of the dates) and Big Business (Whom also appeared on a few dates) would also appear at various points in the film.
The blurb of the DVD is as follows: "In 2012 The Melvins set a world record by traveling around the USA, playing all fifty states plus Washington DC in 51 days. This DVD is a record of their travels, shot completely on mobile phones, highlighting scenes from the tour. Each chapter represents one minute of footage in each city. Live footage and the respective venues appear in each chapter albeit briefly."
A handful of the cities would be misspelled in the chapters menu.
