Apogee is the second album by the Wisconsin stoner metal band Bongzilla. It would be released initially circa May 2001 via the label Howling Bull. Despite containing three studio tracks and four live tracks, it is acknowledged as a studio album. Apogee is also notable as the last Bongzilla release to feature Weed Dragon on bass.

Apogee's initial release was on CD, with a reissue via Relapse in 2004. The first vinyl edition came in 2004 via Howling Bull, omitting the live tracks. Apogee would be reissued by Bongzilla's own label Gungeon Records in North America and Totem Cat Records in Europe.

Recording Information

• Tracks 1, 2 and 3 recorded sometime in 2000 at Coney Island Studio, Madison, WI.
• Tracks 4 and 5 recorded live at Weed Stock, May 1998.
• Tracks 6 and 7 recorded live at Great Midwest Marijuana Harvest Fest, October 1998.
