And Then There Were None... is the fifth (Sixth if you count Vol. 1) studio album by Japanese doom/psych band Church of Misery. Notably it's their first album to not feature any kind of cover song along with the first in collaboration with American musicians.

The album is dedicated to Jason McCash (The Gates of Slumber) and Joey LaCaze (Eyehategod).

Background[]

In late 2013, Church of Misery would be down to just bassist/bandleader Tatsu Mikami as Hideki Fukasawa, Ikuma Kawabe and Junji Narita all left the band after a third European tour. Sometime in 2014 Tatsu would travel to Maryland in the United States to record with Dave Szulkin and Eric Little for the instrumental tracks for the next album. Later it was announced that Scott Carlson would be providing the vocals for the forthcoming album.[1] It would be the first full-length Carlson had provided vocals on since Repulsion's 1989 album Horrified.

Leading up to the album a special mix of "Confessions of an Embittered Soul (Leonarda Cianciulli)" was released via Decibel Magazine in their December 2015 issue.

And Then There Were None... was released on March 4, 2016 by Rise Above Records. A diehard vinyl version was also released with a bonus track and an extended mix of "Suicide Journey (Heaven's Gate Cult)". Clementine Barnabet was spelled as "Clement Barnabet" on the diehard vinyl edition.
