Alloy is the fourth studio album by the Finnish Funeral Doom Metal band Skepticism. Recorded while the band was on a hiatus following 2003's Farmakon, it would be released via Red Stream, Inc. on 20 October 2008. Following the album's release, Skepticism went on the Exorcising the Funeral tour alongside the bands Pantheist and Ophis. Skepticism also performed at Dutch Doom Days and have followed up with The Maniacal Alloy Tour with Esoteric.
Svart Records would re-issue Alloy on 27 March 2020, containing the Aes EP as a bonus track and garnering new critical observation in light of it's release.[1][2] Alloy would be ranked #83 on Decibel Magazine's "Top 100 Doom Metal Albums of All Time".[3]
