Acid King (EP) (1994) |
Zoroaster (1995) |
Acid King is the eponymous debut EP by Acid King. It would be recorded in 1993 and mastered at K Disc Mastering. Initially released as a promotional cassette,[1] Sympathy For The Record Industry would release the EP in the Spring of 1994 as a 45RPM 10". All four songs would be issued, along with the band's 1995 debut Zoroaster, as The Early Years.
The cover artwork features a photograph of teenage murderer Ricky Kasso (nicknamed 'The Acid King'), from whom the band took their name from when Lori S read the book "Say You Love Satan". The Early Years re-issue would use the same art as this EP.
