Abyssal (often spelled A B Y S S A L) is a Mexican doom metal band from Tijuana, Baja California formed in 2009 and composed of guitarist/vocalist Fernando Ruiz, bassist Luna and drummer Angel. Nemesis, Nene, Malenas and Eddy are former members of the band.
The band has released five studio albums, one split and one compilation during its ten-year career. All of their full-length albums consist of one track. The band's debut album Blindness clocks in at only 18:15, making it one of the shortest full-length album of all time.
Their fifth studio album Misanthrope was released on October 31, 2018.
