Aamunkajo is a Finnish funeral doom project formed by the Espoo-based musician Funereal in 2006. The project started after the first song "Ammuttu" had been recorded. Then further songs were developed before his debut album Unen päättyessä was released on the Ukrainian label Boyanov Gimn in October 2008. Aamunkajo released the second album titled Avaruuden tyhjyydessä via Satanarsa Records in 2011, and the third album Kaiku on Silent Time Noise in 2012.

The band name means "Morning Glow" in Finnish.
