500 Ft. of Pipe was a stoner rock/heavy rock band based out of Detroit, Michigan. Active between 1996 and 2003, releasing three studio albums. One of these albums, 1998's Electrifying Church of The New Light, would see a re-issue via Beard of Stars Records. Beyond their releases virtually nothing is known about them. Kevin Edwards and Mick Stone would eventually form Lavamoth and release an album in 2018. Ross Westerbur would work with a wider range of bands such as Electric Six, The Meatmen, King Tuff and The Bluescasters among his own projects Aquarius Void and Westerbur & Rowe.
