04092001 is a collaborative live album by Boris with Merzbow, recorded circa September 2001 and released in February 2005 via Inoxia Records, limited to a one-time pressing of 500 copies.
While the release features two untitled sides the live recording is comprised of shortened noise compositions from Megatone and five songs from Heavy Rocks, at the time of recording would be before either album was released on 26 April 2002. Mastering for the album took place at Peace Music on 8 May 2003 and some copies also came with a large Feedbacker poster.
